Our programs: We believe that to level the playing field in Africa our youths not only need access to resources but they also need spaces to process and think critically about what they are learning.
PAA Programs
Public Art Africa empowers African youths together with their local communities. We nurture and harness their talent through year-round arts and media-based educational programs and community engagement activities to holistically promote African prosperity - one community, region, and country at a time.
Our students will be equipped with the tools they need to problem solve, be resourceful, and in their own way impact society.
And they learn that while participating in Public Art Africa programs.
In-School
Students are supported creatively by mentors and teachers from the school. They develop projects that they can share with their community after three months in an annual showcase.
Community Engagement
With every new lesson learned students are given the tools to share with people in their community one Saturday a month.
College Prep
For 12 weeks, students are given the space to think about their future as they learn about college options, develop portfolios, and meet with industry professionals.
