Community Voices

Each Public Art Africa program sets out to engage the community in topics dealing with Human Rights, Health Education, and Environmental Education.

Through our collaborations with various domestic and international organizations and companies, we can touch more people’s lives.

Below are the faces of professionals, teachers, artists, and creators. These individuals invested in the lives of young people participating in these programs with their time, money, skills, and with their care.

  • "The children I mentored are all doing well getting ready to graduate college. It’s been an incredible benefit to my life just watching them succeed."

    Hosea Johnson, UR4Africa Board Member

  • “This program is like a much-needed rehabilitation program for our society.”

    Ope Ajayi, Public Art Mentor

  • "It's all about the opportunity to serve and impact society."

    Abraham Aluko, Public Art Mentor

  • "I enjoy seeing how my work helps youth in real time although I have not been to Nigeria to visit."

    Orlando Taylor, UR4Africa Board Member

  • “Our programs are twofold. Not only do our students gain and learn during each program but our mentors and volunteers also gain and learn after each program, which makes the impact of these programs even stronger.”
